My approach to life is very simple.  If the body is rejuvenated through nutrition and exercise, your mind is refreshed through meditation, and your spirit is connected to the Divine then you can achieve peace within – the Trinity of Wellness.

Dabbling in a holistic approach to wellness for much of my adult life, I acquired my formal education at the Institute of Massage Therapies in Richmond, VA in 2010.  Certified as a Massage Therapist through NCBTMB and the State of Virginia, I have also achieved the following certifications as: Nurturing the Mother® Pregnancy Massage Therapist, Infant Massage Therapist, Fertility Massage Specialist, and Reiki Practitioner. 

NOT TAKING ANY NEW DOULA CLIENTS AT THIS TIME My personal birth and postpartum experience includes: birthing and breastfeeding two children, attending my two grandson’s births, and acting unofficially in a Postpartum Doula role for a family with a special needs child.

My professional experience includes: becoming a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International and having had the great honor of attending 24 beautiful births since I began this journey in December 2010.  I have also had the pleasure of helping five families as a Postpartum Doula as I am currently working on a Postpartum Doula Certification through DONA.
